Let’s embark on a virtual journey to explore the spiritual splendor and natural beauty of Kedarnath. The Sacred Pilgrimage Ancient History: Kedarnath is steeped in mythology and history. According to legend, it is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva absolved himself from the sin of killing the demon Gajasura. Pilgrims typically start from Gaurikund, trekking 16 kilometers through breathtaking landscapes of pine forests, meadows dotted with wildflowers, and roaring rivers. The trail winds through picturesque villages like Rambara and offers glimpses of the towering peaks of Kedarnath and Kedar Dome. Divine Tranquility at Kedarnath Temple Architectural Marvel: As you approach the temple complex, the sound of bells and chanting fills the air, creating an atmosphere charged with devotion.
